Windows 10 couldn't be installed-HELP PLS

Before I explain I am a complete computer novice so please bear this in mind if you are so kind as to respond. I currently have Windows 7 and when I tried to install Windows 10 it said "Windows update encountered an unknown error - Error found C1900101-40017". I tried to find out what this meant but it might as well have been written in Greek. Does anyone know if there is a simple solution or do I just stick with Windows 7? Any help greatly appreciated.

The upgrade process continues with configuring and completes with boot Windows 10 ;-)
You can find "Disable drivers signature" in "advanced -> startup settings" which will be offered after interrupting of the upgrade process (look around in the available menus, I can't remember the full path). "
