Remortgage: Gone over credit card limit

Hi all,
I generally have very good finances and fairly good savings. I use a credit card for day-to-day spending for the perks and ALWAYS pay it off in full each month. Other than this and the mortgage, I have no other credit, although I have access to one other credit card (for travelling, nil balance) and an overdraft I never use.
I bought a carpet on my credit card at the weekend, which pushed me £50 over my agreed limit. I noticed this morning and have immediately transferred money to cover it. I was looking to remortgage at the end of my fixed deal in August - is this likely to look bad?
Thanks for any help/advice.

It will not look good BUT will only form a part of the overall lending decision.
If your overall proposition is good and as such you have a vast range of lender options then you could always try one where there is a "soft footprint" ie the lender search has no impact outside of group.
My own gut reaction is that this is, in itself, will be a minor issue.0 -
It probably won't even make it your credit report. Ring the CC and check. They might be able to reassure you.0
