Rats leaving a sinking ship

The EZ is a sinking ship, that much is clear, and now the rats are all leaving the ship. The U.K. Are leading the way out, now several other countries want to get out before it goes down.

The UK was never a part of the Euro Zone.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

Is that why there's talk of a lot of financial institutions moving EU based traders out of London and back into the EU?
I suspect the UK is the sinking ship that's losing all of it's rats.0 -

That's because the EU will probably stop the UK passporting, that is if you have a banking licence in one country it applies in all.0 -

I'm wondering if this could turn out to be a good thing for me personally.
I've always been safe from repercussions of loss of free movement in that my partner has a UK passport and access to an EU one, while I have an EU passport and access to a UK one.
I love London and wanted it to be home for the next 10 or so years but if finance and/or tech relocates to somewhere in Europe it might be an interesting change (or even a big move to Asia). I'm still hoping for the French Riviera
More seriously though, I have moved several times before and I could do it again. It's a wide world and more people should expand their horizons.0 -
This will be an opportunity for someone.

Your view maybe different to one who has roots here, friends and family and children settled in local schools.
Their employer may give them an option, move or find another job somewhere else, this is the reality and not uncommon. HSBC for one are considering it."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

The City rat jumped the EU ship. Looking back now, it's amazing if disturbing how good the Tavistock blokes are at creating and leveraging synthetic reality. The remain & leave camps were manipulated into existence and then provided cover for the real purpose by getting their knickers in a bunch over "important issues" they thought the thing was driven by.
The referendum was brought forward from 2017.... by David Cameron. MSM is blaming everything from his hubris to retardation. That's twaddle. The City saw how quickly things are coming apart and wanted out pronto. Cameron lost the PM but will be well rewarded for getting it done. Obeying instructions pays well and offers convincing health benefits.Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future0 -
To be honest, the EU masters did themselves no favours when Cameron came begging for a good deal before the referendum.
They gave him next to nothing and now they are weaker for playing hard ball.
