Food Storage Containers

Many of my old plastic food containers have seen better days so I think the time has come to replace them. (Old Tupperware mainly which I've been using for 30+ years).

Lock & Lock, Klip It or Sistema - I'm having difficulty deciding. Opinions would be very welcome. Are there others that I should be considering?

Price is very important too, so I'd be looking for special offers if there are any good ones around.

Tesco's own Klipfresh range is pretty good and well priced.

Sorry, just tried to post link and found I can't because I'm new to the site - but to go Tesco Direct and search on Klipfresh for a whole lot of options.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

My two grouches with systema are the handles mean some products are unstackable & they do not appear to sell spare lids.
I have several smashing large plastic mugs which used to be lidded & are now not. Ho hum.

I'd be looking at supermarket suppliers as I refuse to believe paying £10 for a box makes it 2 times better than a £5 one & I'd also be trying to find Tupperware again as you Know It Works (unless it has gone viley downhill in the last decade?)

Our local market has a kitchen tackle stall & she can get Lock & lock in all shapes & sizes for less than the usual RRP - definitely worth considering Where you shop.

Lakeland may work out OK if you can get cashback - only venture in in person if you have a trusted other person holding your cards & cash outside waiting for you. They are more skilled at filleting your wallet than American medics!

Genuine old Tupperware has a lifetime guarantee. If it's broken ask for a replacement!

My guess is that it's scratched, faded, maybe a bit warped through heating in microwave but still effectively works.

Thanks everyone for your comments/suggestions. Daren't step foot in Lakeland!
I did buy a few Lock & Lock from Morrisons yesterday , then bought some in a useful size from Asda this morning as they were on offer (450ml for 60p. good size for portions of pasta sauce etc). I'll see how I get on with those for the time being.

I like my lock and lock which I either pick up in tk maxx or John Lewis sales

However I did get some large flour containers lock and lock style ones in Asda and they are holding up well.

I picked up a set of about 12 pieces from Lidl a few months ago.
All sizes in the set from a large (15") down to 3"/4". They are in constant use and are still looking good.
I have seen these come and go, just keep a look out for them.

I saw them in Lidl this morning so either my store has a surplus that they are trying to shift or they have come back round again in time for 'summer' picnics.

They didn't have any in my Lidl today sadly. They don't seem to have as full a range of things as other Lidls I have been to; but I will keep checking.

I can't see them on the website so they must be left over from a previous offer.
