A bit of excitement and bit of apprehension here - big step for them.
@Cherryscone bank a/c has been emptied here too - scared to add up what I have spent in total. There is no cheap way around any of it I am afraid - as I have found out in other years.
Cheap shoes only last to Christmas whereas decent Clarks last usually the full school year. Same with schoolbags - found the Vans etc are much stronger for the amount of stuff they have to lug round!0 -

My kids like the Hush Puppies which last the year. My DD is a little nervous about the whole thing. I'm a bit worried about her getting the bus for the 1st time!0
