CeMap 2 & 3 - How long to study?

Apologies if not the right place but couldnt find a better one!
Did CeMap 1 around 12 months ago, stayed in the industry but not in an advice role (customer service/fact finding role) so hopefully it's not too difficult, now looking to go back.
Any general idea how long, knowing it will be after-work and weekend study, i would expect? I may hope, depending on exams slots, end of August or so. So 2 months, should be plenty of time right?
Bonus question: Will i need CeMap 1 knowledge for CeMap 2 & 3? (as if so, may need to look into more up to date material). Tried to find this on trhe general syllabus' but hard to figure out.

Yes you will need your CeMAP one knowledge and you can buy the course material from the Institute of Financial Services without taking the exam again.
How long depends on how quick a learner you are, I did all three CeMAPs in 2 months back in 2004, after work, but I was working in minimally supervised advice role at the time.
Once you are CeMAP qualified you still need a lot of supervision for the first couple of years. What are your career plans?I am a Mortgage Adviser

I passed 3 this Monday just gone and started studying 2 in February so it's been 5 months for me, however you should really try and book in 3 for like a week after the 2nd one because the material they cover is identical. Definitely could be done in just a few months though if you wanted to.
I would say that there isn't much from 1 that comes up again in 2 or 3 so wouldn't worry about it too much.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I passed all three modules in two months. You will need to brush up on CeMAP one content in order to pass the other two.Slummy mummy!0

One is the most difficult so you have passed that hurdle. It took me about a month to pass that, but two and three I revised for and passed in about two weeks (solid study, though, around four hours per day).0
