    Symptoms of psychosis
The 2 main symptoms of psychosis are:

hallucinations – where a person hears, sees and, in some cases, feels, smells or tastes things that are not there; a common hallucination is hearing voices
delusions – where a person has strong beliefs that are not shared by others; a common delusion is someone believing there's a conspiracy to harm them
The combination of hallucinations and delusional thinking can cause severe distress and a change in behaviour.

It doesn't specifically mention fifty trillion in derivatives but otherwise QED.

"Property is a one way bet" was one of the more common recent mass delusions, along with the lesser known one (common on here though) of "people who want cheaper property want to harm me, and harm society". Very very scary.

Many are predicting Sep 11 2019 as the official death of Deutsche Bank

Oh drat, with all that hoohah about operation Yellowhammer and the Scottish Court ruling, we all missed the official death of Deutsche Bank yesterday.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Investment banking is in serial decline. Without counterparties levels of trade are steadily decreasing.

The next banking crisis has now started.

DB is just the start, there are now several other banks with similar size apocalyptic derivatives books in tens of trillions.

2008 all over again but all the problems that were pushed into the future in 2008 are now much larger and much worse,

They tried doing a few under the table bailouts in the last few weeks but the trillions of dollars are showing up and can’t all remain hidden.......

Overnight repos keep happening because the next banking crisis has happened.

The fed keeps bailing out the banks again, but in 2008 they went to congress and asked for a bailout and the first vote was refused. But then they realised the consequences of not bailing out a too big to fail bank, and they did create that much currency out of thin air to bail out the banks.

This time around the answer will be no.

What will be the consequences of a too big to fail bank like DBank actually failing?

Have you just arrived from Mars?
  • The funniest part is all the latest desperate bail outs still are not enough to stem the tide
