Mortgage and gambling

Hi,
I'm looking for some reassurance (hopefully) in relation to a mortgage application. Myself and my partner are moving house and will be applying for 75% LTV mortgage with Natwest.
I've printed out our bank statements and realised we have 2 payments to sky bet on them. One for £5 and one for £15. These are from the grand national and Cheltenham. I'm worried this will affect our approval.
We never enter our overdraft, have no credit cards with balances or any loans and we have savings of 7k.
Anyone know whether it will be an issue.
Thank you in advance.

I doubt it but I wouldn't gamble any more. If they asked for more bank statements, say 6 months worth, what sort of gambling would show up?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Nothing. It's typical that the latest statement I can get for that account covers the period they both fall in. Is not even a regular thing.0

Full mortgage application submitted through our broker now so fingers crossed. As I'm on maternity leave we also have to submit a bank statement from before my maternity commenced. This didn't have any gambling on it so fingers crossed that will go in our favour.0

Thank you. I'm a glass half empty type of person and have been stressing ever since I saw them on the statement.0 -
Totally understandable, it's a very stressful time.
The odd bet here and there is completely fine though and what you've done is no different than putting a few pounds on the national lottery each week
