Which mortgage!!

Ok Guys

I need help! Ive been told not to go for a fixed rate mortgage due to the high rate at the moment, and will be stuck if the interest rate drops. So ive been looking at the trackers and capped mortgages. i want to lend £100000 for 2 years with no charges after the 2 years to move my mortgage.

A mortgage adviser told me that the interest is likely to drop, do you think this will happen?? (sorry i dont trust some morgage advister after being ripped off last time).

Any ideas where to get a good deal???

Thank you all xx

He could be right, he could be wrong. Only time will tell. 3 months ago, most people thought another increase could be on the cards. Now, the feeling is that the longer term trend is down. It can change very quickly.

The downward trend, if it happens, is likely to be slow. Far slower than the increases we have had. You may not even see much change over a 2 year period. 2 year fixed rates are, in my opinion, often a waste of money. Fixed rate charges are going up so a 5 year fix is often much more cost efficient rather than going with 2 year fixes every two years.

Remember, next time you go to your doctor, don't trust him. Harold Shipman was a murderer so that must mean other doctors are as well.
