Nokia 6300 cheapest as unlocked

I heard that O2 pay as you go phones come as unlocked. Is that true? Since I'll buy on web just like to be sured.

I'll probably buy from Littlewood or E2save.

Thanx

  • Some do, some don't. Ones from places like CPW may well do as they can use standard GSM stock with an O2 SIM. Ones from Argos, littlewoods etc tend to come locked.

OH as Nokia 6300 from O2 via www.dialaphone.co.uk . It is unlocked and I have found this always to be the case with O2.

OH has his on contract from O2 for £10 per month for 12 months. Went via Quidco.com for an extra £60 cash back so total cost for the year is £60 (with 200 mins/200 text per month).

Once you have bought a phone from dialaphone you can then refer family/friends by just giving them your number (they can still go through quidco) you will then earn £20 for referring them.

Hmm, with the deal codes Littlewood ones come to just £62. CPW one is £100. But looks like not worth taking risk - a locked phone will have little use for me :(

  • If you get a o2 mobile on contract it is unlocked to all networks already , but pay as you go phone are normally locked to that network - unless your very lucky .
