Mobile phone contract before mortgage application.

Hi, I've had my phone 3 years and it's slowly failing, i'm on a SIM only at the moment but really need a new phone, so really extra expenditure of £20 per month. Will this affect my remortgage application in any way? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but i'm really trying to make my spending look tip top and be the model applicant! Thank you.

    This won't be a problem.

One thing I would strongly urge though is that if you have a direct debit set up for this DON'T cancel it as I see countless people with defaults for about £20 due to cancelling phone contract DD's without realizing there's money owed.
