If you are getting nowhere with the company there is the ASA

Thanks for this thread, I was about to start a similar one. I won a click to win prize 2 months ago and still haven't received it. I have emailed them several times and did receive an appology and an assurance that my prize would be sent ASAP. It's now a fornight since I last received any messages from them and my last 2 emails have, so far, been ignored.

I'm wondering how long to leave it, before I ask someone else to intervene?

A couple of years ago I had a similar problem with a C2W site, it took over three months and constant chasing to finally get a TV and Bluray player. I ended up not just chasing Bauer but also I located people associated with the publication on Twitter and chased with them too and that's when things started to happen. It still took ages but on Twitter it's all public and they don't like that :D

I have won many things on the C2W sites and the speed of fulfilment varies enormously, some arrived within a couple of days but most take anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks. I had one arrive today that I have been waiting for since early May.

Thanks Technoflump. The twitter idea is a good one - I'll give it another week and try that, if it still hasn't arrived. :)

I just wanted to add that my prize finally came after an apology for the delay. I hope that BigSister2008 and cinders59 both got your prizes too :)
  • I have the same issue with a supplier of Baeur - I won a telescope at the end of April and im still chasing for it. There's no way I'm giving up, it's worth £800!!
