Mortgage order?

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help me with this! My husband and I are splitting up and the mortgage is in his name only but he put an order on the house so that if we ever needed to sell he couldn't do that without my permission. What is this called? How do I go about getting a copy of this legal document?
Thanks Gail

You need to go back to the solicitor/conveyancing firm who originally did the legals for you and ask them. Or if there has been any further legal work for remortgages etc then you may be able to find out from who acted for you thenI am a Mortgage Adviser

I'd have thought it should be visible on the land registry records. You can download for £3.0
