I am starting a new thread to mark my new journey.
My partner and I have a goal to pay back a family loan of £55,000 in 5 years. This was given to my partner to purchase the house we live in.
To pay that back in 5 years we need to be paying off £916.67 a month.
My half of this is £458.33 and I already pay £200 so I will need to find £258.33 a month.
It's going to be very tough, I am unsure if it can be done but I certainly need to try.
We are both turning 34 this year so to pay it back by the time we are 40 would be excellent.
Let's see how I get on!

Payday today.
Not spent any unscheduled money which is very good.
Budget all done in YNAB, which is not looking too good!
Not money saving, but had a shock later from DD1's school saying they may not be able to care for her any longer and I should maybe consider a special school.
This has totally thrown me. Lot's of things to now consider.:(:(

to the payday
to the letter from your DD1's school
You need to find out what, if anything has happened or changed, and why they are sending this letter out of the blue, I'm sure if there had been an incident - they would have called you in to discuss.
One step at a time, find out all facts first, then deal withand breath .....

I feel like it's come out the blue, as no one has said this before but I am aware she's struggling and the gap is widening not closing. I have her annual review of her statement of special educational needs tomorrow so I can discuss it all then.0

NSD today and I've told the dance teacher dd2 is leaving. Feels like a huge weight off our shoulders and bank balance!
School side not so good but i'm too drained to write/think anymore about it.0 -
My boyfriend is trying to get me to use a spread sheet to forecast my money and I can not get used to it! I like YNAB but he says it's not enough!!
School stuff still up in arms.
Been ok on money front, so far. Nothing saved yet though! :-(0
