Budget Wedding in Bristol

Hi All,

I am trying to organise a small cheap wedding in August for myself and partner and around 35 guests in the Bristol area, not looking for a big glitzy wedding don't want to spend more than a £1000 if possible.

Looking to get married at a local registry office probably Poole Court then off to a venue for drinks and some food either buffet or sit down and a toast then guests can buy their own drinks.

Any ideas wood be greatly appreciated.

What about that floating barge restaurant in front of the Holiday Inn? You may get exclusive use of it on a weekday for that.

If you're doing the wedding at Poole court then you're probably best off looking for an after venue in or around yate or winterbourne - or a little bit further out but not into town - you don't want people to have to travel too far, especially given that half the city it torn up for roadworks!
