Quick Quid

Not sure if this is the right thread but here it goes.
I spiralled into debt a while a go and now I have a DMP with Stepchange - best thing I ever did.
I've been reading on here about payday loan and interest that can be claimed back if the loans were irresponsibly lent. I had the loans below with Quickquid which I think clearly shows I couldn't afford the loans as I was getting loans out every months. Does anyone think I have a chance to claim any of it back?

    Wow !!

    That's a lot of loans.

Where they all paid back without any problems ?

Usually the criteria the FOS look at is if you were borrowing on a regular basis, you where rolling over loans on more than one occasion, you had problems repaying one loan, yet were leant to again soon after.

If any of that applies to you, you have a good chance of a rebate of interest plus any charges, you should also ask for statutory interest to be added @ 8%.

    Full reclaiming guide here :

Don't be surprised if your complaint is rejected, the payday loan companies are inundated with complaints just now, most end up going to the FOS.

    Whats the FOS?

    Financial ombudsman service :http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk

Quick quid have 8 weeks in which to provide you with a final responce to any complaint you make to them, if you are not happy with the outcome of your complaint, then you have a maximum of 6 months in which to pass your complaint to the FOS, who will determine your case on the basis of fairness, the FOS are the financial services complaints resouloution service, and are free to use, if you accept there assessment of your case, then the result is binding on both you, and the Buisness.

    Debt-free and Proud!
nobodyknow, i have a very very similar history with QQ. Nearly 40 loans in total. Lots of rolling over, extending. Borrowing again the same day i paid another back. I was in a right mess. Between QQ and Wonga. I have added it all up and sent off a complaint today. You can try, that is all you can do, the debt spiral of PDL's is a very hard lesson to learn :(. I had defaults on my credit report and even paid QQ back late once and they continued to lend.

Debt camel website is very uesful, there is also a very good thread on here re claiming back from PDL's. It was started by woody i think and its pinned, lots of helpful information and other peoples experiences.

    Good luck x
