sant pers loan - online T&C signed but paperwork also sent

i wonder if anyone has had a similar experience, any comments would be welcomed

i applied for a santander personal loan online, within 2 mins they approved the loan (9k) in the same email it stated "if you have already signed your loan agreement online through an esignature there is nothing else you need to do, your money will be in your account within 2 working days

if you have not already signed your loan agreement online a papercopy will be with you shortly"

on Thursday evening i signed the T&Cs online as part of the application process, so was surprised yesterday to receive paperwork asking me to sign the T&Cs

I put a deposit on a car on Saturday before i received this paperwork as the original email stated the money will be in my bank in 2 working days and there is nothing else for me to do. (the paperwork I've received states it can be up to 4 working days after they receive my signature before the money is released! so pretty confusing)

im going to return this paperwork tomorrow morning anyway - just wondering if anyone has experienced this before or would know why they sent me additional paperwork contradicting my application - they are not open until Monday morning - so i guess ill have to sweat it out :P

Usually you get the option to "sign" online via ticking a box which is what transfers it within 2 days
