New glasses - seeing reflections UNDER frames/ lens

I got some new glasses from specsavers. They have anti-reflection coating, thinner lens, uv filter blah blah. I've had anti-reflective coating before and its never been a problem.
But when wearing these glasses, I was watching a film yesterday and I could see the reflections of the screen underneath my frame. When something moved on the TV, I could see this light under the frame move too.
I'm going back to the store today but has anyone encountered anything similar?

I've had strobing of traffic lights & headlights through my Specsavers varifocals, with anti-reflect coating. Took them back, they ordered & fitted new lenses without the coating - problem solved.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I always get that. It is because my lenses are thick (even with the thinner lenses) so there is always some glass outside the frame. I have always found that section of glass reflects light, but I just don't notice it any more.0

My glasses, with coating and thinner lenses are from Asda (much cheaper) but I just tried them as the tv is on.
I found no reflection from the tv, but looking far left and right, there was a small reflection(which I have not noticed before) of my laptop screen and this reflection does appear to be in the coating layer, rather than deeper in the lens fabric.0
