Macarons? (Frozen or fresh)

Does anyone have any bright ideas where I could get decent macarons (frozen or fresh it doesn't matter) for a tea party?
I don't have regular access to places like Aldi or Lidl but could go to one if they might have them?
I'm cross I missed out on a half price deal on Ocado this week for frozen ones.

You can buy cheap frozen macarons from Lidl.
Alternatively, you might think of having a go yourself at making some - there is a huge mystique around it, but if you follow the recipe and instructions carefully, you should get a perfectly decent outcome. OK, it may not look perfect, but the taste is pretty much guaranteed. Try https://www.atelierdeschefs.co.uk/en/macaroon-recipe-ideas-online.php (there is also a helpful video on the site showing how to pipe these).0 -
They are 12 for £2.99 frozen in Lidl. This is a special purchase, so may not be around forever.
This particular one, though, is one that keeps coming back (they were last around at Christmas).0 -
I think Costco has them in store0

These were on BOGOF at Lidl Chesterfield Chatsworth Road at the weekend - presume as left over from French week they wanted them gone.0 -
Interesting post. We have Macarons on our wedding menu and have to find a place to buy them or a baker to make them0
