Thanks hopefully all be ok then. We have no adverse credit on our records and have closed any accounts we are no longer using.

Just a comment not related directly to you.

Not just a question of looking at adverse. But build up of debt. If debt existed prior to 2 plus years ago. Then it obviously wasn't for the purpose of extending the build. Credit profiling is a fairly accurate science these days. Enabling lenders to categorise you into a type of borrower. People have very similar traits.

Was your current lender not interested in giving you more money?

Application was accepted in principle and valuation has been completed and valuation ok. Broker has asked me to get a copy of my credit report for natwest to check current balances on the debts to be repaid??? Surely they see that when they do a credit check? Anyone else been asked to do that? We have had a letter from Natwest solicitors to complete for transfer or mortgage deeds would they instruct if they were still checking?

Just get a copy of your credit report and send it to them, you can get a free one with Noodle. Sounds like they are willing to entertain this so.

    Good luck
