Don't think I'll manage to catch up tonight but I will try :D

I can now open the curtains :j and see Day light before it disappears. My windows are always shut during the day in summer. Blackout blinds pulled down in the bedrooms and curtains are closed. :T. It's only in the evening that they get opened up. I read about this in a woman's mag years ago and it definitely works at keeping the house cool :T. My neighbours must think I'm mad :rotfl: :rotfl:

Almost time for the final of The Durrells and Granchester. Mustn't miss them. See you later xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Hello lovely peoples

I'm late on Parade today, I've been booking a holiday and it seems to have taken most of the day :(

Just had one of my favourite dinners - hot octopus, hot prawns and hot baguette to mop up the juices, washed down with chilled San Pellegrino - it seems my taste is starting to return :j

If it's that bad for you AJ, please close all windows and use a portable air con unit, you can get them from deal sites for about £50 plus postage, or at least fans but they can blow what pollens/dusts that's already there about more. You need to isolate yourself from the outside to keep yourself comfortable. Like you say, a tan in not worth the agro now

Ha, I should have read on further before I posted Susan. It is surprising what a difference the windows open and closed timings make. Yeas ago I used to love having the windows open on a summer day, sun streaming through the glass but oh, how things have changed.

Hope your knees aren't too troublesome just now. I need my left one replaced, then I'll have a pair:rotfl: :rotfl: it's fantastic being pain free in one knee at least :D
