    Mortgage-free Glee!
Afternoon all - just started raining was lovely until now - still wouldn't be a Bank Holiday without it!

DD is caught up in the British Airways fiasco her and fianc! spent yesterday at Gatwick so drove back up to Heathrow to catch a flight at 7 am this morning but although bookings has been changed the tickets needed revalidating - the queues at 5.30 am were horrendous. They were only going for a week for a friends 40th Birthday Bash.

Feel really sorry for all those effected as for that idiot of a MD standing in an office well away from the Terminal mayhem delivering a pathetic excuse for the Computer failure wearing a HiVi vest as if to suggest he had been in the thick of it.

Think DD won't go now as frightened they might get stranded, they will lose their contribution towards the Villa but will get their ticket money back. Hope they will get their leave cancelled too so they can add it to their honeymoon.

Just wanted to send Snap a big hug and a wave to Nanny.

Gonna have a proper read back now with a nice cuppa. xx

    Good morning Elite :hello:

Hope the majority are enjoying the heat wave we're having just now. I adore the sun but have to keep out of it, I no longer need to be tanned, I'm over it and tend to look after my skin more these days :rotfl:

It's been fun watching the shopping results, and Susan with her lists, well done xx

I've not been posting as I haven't been keeping up to date very well. The heat has got me and it has got me wheezing badly, breathing has been difficult too. Armed with antihistamine for pollen and my inhalers I'll be ok, just can't be going out, or shouldn't be for now.

Hugs to all the Elite poorly, and those low in spirit. You're in my thoughts every day, even when I don't post xx

If it's that bad for you AJ, please close all windows and use a portable air con unit, you can get them from deal sites for about £50 plus postage, or at least fans but they can blow what pollens/dusts that's already there about more. You need to isolate yourself from the outside to keep yourself comfortable. Like you say, a tan in not worth the agro now
