I didn't post a pic of Poppy this morning it was the new Big Brother eye but Tinypic not working so didn't post .

Evening all,
Not caught up and my dilemma , as usual, is do I read forwards or backwards IYKWIM??

Went to Debenhams to get holiday money and got the £5 off wys £20 voucher, had a look around and saw a few things in the Debenhams Collection range that I liked, I liked them better as there were signs all over saying 25% off, so I went to buy a top which was priced at £20 , but that wouldn't be enough when the 25% (£5.00) came off so I picked up a pair of shorts as well. I also had a pair of Mantaray (fat lass) shorts that were reduced to £9.00. The T&Cs imply that the vouchers can only be used for Debenham's own brands.

I paid and the total seemed too much and on checking the 25% had not been taken off. Back I went, the SA said oh I think that it is selected items only, but I'll come and look with you, which he did.
Big sign re 25% off on a rail that had 4 'arms', the 'arm' that held the top I bought said something about new season, it turned out that in the teeniest tiniest print at the bottom, in white on pale green, it said, not included in the offer. SA & I agreed that this was not obvious and very misleading. I said I was only buying them as they were reduced and to use my voucher so I don't want them at that price. He said well you have the other shorts so you can use the voucher anyway.

Result, a pair of shorts, originally £30 :eek:(as if) for £4.00:j:j

Just tried tweets no different.
Peeps are moaning on Play store about the new update.
Whenever I quote a post to comment it opens a new page!
I have about 8 elite pages open and have to keep deleting. :mad:

I made sure I got the B&Liq Muller but just any others, and Peanut & Caramel doesn't work

Didn't do too well today

RG £1.50 v £1.50, APG 15p x 6 = 90p. Paid £6 so 85p each so not too bad
Mullers 68p v 50p, APG 23p x 4 = 92p. Paid £4 so 38.5p each

Talking of tinned steam sponge puddings.
I opened one to cook in the microwave while watching the news on tv ( in the kitchen), it was when the tsunami happened.
I had taken one lid off, was taking the bottom off , got distracted and the tin lid flew off cutting my thumb.
It poured with blood, OH told me to pull myself together until he saw the cut and had to take me to A& E, think it was on boxing day.
Needed stitches and a tetanus injection, plus we were there hours!

Never again would I buy one!
Plus I have the scar to remind me. :eek:
