    I went at whoopsie time today but walked away. There was a family there who used to frequent Tesco who were bullies:mad: I couldn't bear to be stood next to them as, between the four of them, they used to block in the SA and take everything, I mean everything off the shelves. If there was the odd thing they didn't want or need they would hold it aloft and offer it to anyone who was standing nearby.

    As I was walking past, another man said in a really loud voice" look it's feeding time at the zoo" and pointed at the family group. I told him to his face that he was really rude. I'm unsure who was the most surprised me or him.

    I then went and hid up the milk aisle in case he came after me:rotfl:

    I would have agreed with him.:)

    afternoon all, we have been AWOL since Friday.
    We have been to stay for the weekend at Eldest son and his lovely GFs very pretty little pink Suffolk cottage on the woods - it is very Hansel and Gretel. Their cottage is gorgeous even allowing for the maverick heating system and they are both enjoying their new jobs.
    We took up 2 coffee tables, a sofa rug and a selection if tupperware, that was all they said they needed.
    We went out for an Indian on Friday night (and saw a monk jack deer on the way back) then we went to Bury St Edmonds on Saturday morning shopping,drinks at the Corn Exchange and to the park and then to a National Trust place in the afternoon.
    Then we went to Home Bargains on the way back to get tools and their little garden was dug over, destoned and de weeded and we also fixed the blocked drain :)
    Then we had home made pizza for dinner :)
    And bacon butties this morning before setting off for home.

    The route is very straight forward - M6 and then A14 but it is so knackering, even though I didn't drive, 3 hours - really should have built in some sort of stop en route ...

    I seem to think Ive youth hostelled somewhere near St Ives but a life time ago but other than that East Anglia is a total new bit if the world for us.

    Sounds such an idylic weekend for you mhoc, time to unwind too. East Anglia has so much to offer, you will have such fun organising places to visit

    Strange day today in the shops.
    I took my niece shopping, and as we were walking round the supermarket, I saw her favourite magazine on the shelf. I pointed it out to her, "Look, it's feeding time at the Zoo, your favourite magazine", she does love looking at all the pictures of the baby animals being fed. Well, we were just about to go get her a copy, and this crazy mad woman came over and started having a go at me, then shot off down the milk isle muttering "1,2,3,4,5,6,7....1,2,3,4,5,6,7 under her breath. Well I was shocked! So shocked in fact that it wasnt until I got to the check out that I noticed that someone must have switched our trolleys and took mine instead of theirs, grrr, what an afternoon, shopping abandoned!
