Morning all hope everyone is well.

One for the men - In Sada, men's belted Boston Crew belted chinos in a beige colour are priced at £14 but scanned at £5. Not sure if national but no reduced sticker and barcode ends 0620. Very good quality. Hth xx

    Good Evening

Just tried to post a long message and lost it - took too long to load!

Basically would like to know if anyone can give me an idea of how much data they use per month and how much time does that give them on Smartphone?

Just want to be able to surf web and check emails while at Mum's. Have never had a smartphone.
Already get 200mins talk (plenty for me) unlimited text and 500mgb data (never used) as part of phone/internet contract. Could double the data for £5.00 per month.
Would that be anywhere near enough, to keep in contact with you lot?
TT suggest 500mgb would give 50 hours of surfing time?

Can buy a sim free Smartphone from Asda using EVoucher credit from Sharpies.

Any advice or suggestions gratefully received.

Good morning. It does depend on whether casual browsing and emails does mean that - once you start using it you find other uses too :).

For low usage (or even my larger usage!) my target price is always free or as close you o that as possible. I currently have the EE 7gb sim that was on offer in March which works out at less than £5 including cashback. We also have 4gb 3 SIMs in the house that worked out at less than £3 per month including Amazon vouchers/cashback. I managed for years on 2gb of data with regular daily browsing and email, combined with free wifi where available (no videos or live stream music, which uses a lot of data)

As an example, on Three, you can get 4gb data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts for £9 per nonth (£108 per year). 12 month contract then rolling month by month (I would be requesting my PAC/giving notice 30 days before the end of 12 months). Their recommend a friend scheme is £25 Amazon for referrer and referee - you don't have to be a Three customer to recommend, so person A in your house can recommend person B, resulting in £50 Amazon in your house (or £45 TCB), making it effectively £58 for the year/£4.88 per month for 4gb data plus mins and texts. Obviously you need to be able to use the Amazon to include them in the price (you are still paying £9 per month!). Last August they had a deal with lower price, Amazon and RAF :).

BT have some good deals if you are a BB customer.

Other better deals are along periodically, so if you are in no rush then it can be worth waiting.

    Hth

    good morning all....

sorry guys I started to read the Kate sweepstake after I saw her outfit....

I wouldn't say the colour or the cut did her any favours...too fussy and frumpy beyond her years....but the children looked lovely!

My guess is that gypsophelia (sp) is about to make a big comeback in flower arranging....and every flowergirl will be carrying hearts of it.

Royal correspondant LEJC....going back to read back over the thread....and I will return when I've got more to say....

I don't know why I did it, but I picked up Bacon and Maple Metcalfe's popcorn.

Little Anons were not at all keen,I didn't even taste it as the smell put me off :(. Mrs Anon happily ate it though :D.

I would avoid - who thought this was a good combination .
