I finished work last Friday, it was a temporary maternity cover but pay was good and hours fitted around schools. I'll look for something again starting in September.

My DD, who is 16, finished school on Wednesday, GCSEs start on Tuesday. I'm not sure if we will both make it through the month of exams. Like her father she is laid back to the point of horizontal. I just had a conversation with her about her revision "plan" and how she was working through it, she looked at me like I was talking a foreign language. I am trying to focus on, its my role to feed her well, make sure she sleeps, gets some exercise and makes the exams on time. I am just hoping she has the study bit under control.

Good to know you've got a lovely long summer ahead of you elliechoons. Good luck with the revision for DD:T:T

There's not much more you can do...good food, plenty study breaks....changing bed sheets is always a good one....a great nights sleep helps a lot, little treats, cold drinks, staying quiet:rotfl:, enforced fresh air:rotfl:

    Good luck :A

Yes I'm looking forward to being off. Im giving her plenty of brain food such as nuts and green tea, its what she likes. Just means I'll have to avoid noisy housework during the day when she has the head down. :)

We all have times when we can struggle with things that normally we would deal with easily. OH keeps doing my head in... as he has been constantly using metal spoons in a pan... absolutely ridiculous but I really want to throttle him, chop him up and bury him under the patio.... you sound like you handled your hick up better then I am xxxxx

I had staples in a broken ankle. It was agony when they took them out.

It's the first one of the pictures for me

Thank you, I've had to change stores to find it, they must not sell it at the smaller store.
