I need to get onto this:)

I'm going to save myself a few hundred pounds today.

I've had roller blinds at a few windows for a few years. They are really good quality, perfect colour etc but have a big scalloped trim at the bottom which had been bothering me for months.

I've had a good look at them and I think I can simply alter them myself by cutting off the trim with a Stanley knife and copydexing a straight trim along the edge.

I'm about to try the first one:)

TM, I've done this before, some blinds allow the scallop to be cut and the cut edge is behind the bottom bar so isn't seen. No more work needed.

Another blind I did it to, I glued on a trim from B&Q which was ribbon with little bead droplets on it. This looked very posh in the bathroom. :rotfl:

We are still missing a box from a move over 15 years ago. I can't even remember now what was in it. Can't have been anything important:rotfl:

Have you looked in the oven for the fridge shelves?:rotfl:

We moved in here 32 years ago and still have a tea chest in the loft that we have not even looked in:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They told me to take co-codomol and ibuprofen, thats all.

How lovely, sorry you got rumbled.

When we moved into this village, we got a similar sort of box from the village committee, and also a visit from the local vicar :rotfl::rotfl:, we literally had moved in that day, and he was on the doorstep by tea time.
My hubby has had a bad back for 20yrs off & on, this is what he got from docs too, and a couple of physios told him different things.
About a year ago he asked doc to refer him to another physio, she asked loads of questions etc, and said his was a 'back instability' to do with muscles, she gave him some excercises to do every day, and since then he's had no 'bad' attacks, only the odd twinges.

He can't take ibuprofen because of stroke meds he's on, but can take c-codamol.

I'm chuffed to bits BS. I didn't think it would be so easy. I've finished two in the dining room but leaving the rest for now as I don't want to rush and make a mistake. You've given me an idea about the trims but I'll see how I get on. They look so much more modern and clean looking and I'm surprised at the difference in the light now coming into the room
