afternoon, I have skimmed read the last few days as been in London babysitting..
We left home Friday looking for Waitrose at ely along the way, we tried to find it once before without success but on the 2nd attempt on Friday managed to find it..and got nappies for DIL...Do you know as much as I try there are some you cant help..or they just don't get it!!!
The nappies on pyo+342+moc+conditonal spend worked out at just over £5 for 150 nappies :) which is a good months supply but DIL was contemplating me getting more for them but thought better of it as baby might grow too big before they get chance to use them...baby is 6kg, nappies go up to 11 kg...is he going to put on 5kg in a month????she also said between both babies she spends £18 a week:eek: so what is £5 in comparison with that?..she didn't want any fairy as she had already bought 1, but gladly had a pack of baby wipes as she was nearly out.
We travelled on to SD where I managed to get mini hair conditioner for 20p., no shower gel or deo...but got the free baby pouch for cos.
popped into A and got rtc an indian meal in a box for £2.75 for our supper when babies had settled.
Saturday morning cheese at lidl then onto Greenwich w for more nappies as DIL then decided she would have more....that was a waste of time no nappies, no rtc lindt bunny, no munchy things for cos, so we bought fairy and used conditional spend...so has Nanny been doing a crafty shop at W??:D I saw she popped in the other day wishing us a happy easter :)
..then it started to drizzle and both babies were asleep in the car, so back to pets at home down old kent rd when the boys then woke and enjoyed looking at the fish and furry animals, quick womble at A next door without any success :(
then back to the swings and slides leaving the boys with mum and dad before we then went to ikea to return items from a shop a couple of weeks previous..then back to ely to find w coming from the opposite direction...horary we found it first time:)
as I hadn't had my phone/internet on all day I thought I would have a little look as on my previous trip I had wombled £8 off £40:D
ZIPPY thanks so much you had just posted yesterday when I checked in, the lamb were looking lonely so I had the last 3 on the shelf, together with lots of kitchen rolls a Chinese bagged meal as my DD was at mine with GS also on mypicks, vitalite (cos) coffee and paper so I was up to the conditional spend really easy.:)
we done a carboot this morning just getting rid of junk but done really well...:)
I now need more caffeine before I tackle preparing a roast dinner..
    anyone else for coffee?:coffee:

Enterprise - I thought you'd appreciate the irony of the fact my marks wardrobe has now gone up 20%, I waited too long :o

So now we're both playing the even longer waiting game!

    Oh no :eek::eek:

Mind you, that might mean they are about to have a furniture sale

Will be very annoying if we catch M&S doing a fast one like that

Was the "furniture event" on before?

    Happy anniversary gocat

My friend finished the marathon about half an hour ago. She was supposed to be running with her husband but he's very unwell and has been in hospital for the past couple of weeks so she did it alone. They've raised £2,000 for the Blue Cross :T:T:T
