LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO COME OFF THE LUCOZADE AND START ON A GALLON A DAY PROSECO :D
Latest incident put beef in oven Saturday .....(left frying pan in oven )

Went out came back oven stinking ....Luckily it was only a one egg sized frying pan ....beef no good as I could only smell plastic .... I do not have an elite stomach ...my mind wont forget what I want it to ie that it was cooked with a frying pan in oven .

And my latest trick is when I get in the car I forget I have to lower my head :eek:...I haven't half whacked myself lately ....

My dgd looks at me like I must be taking the "mick" when I ask her to repeat something I asked her five minutes ago :rotfl:y

And firmly tells me ...Grandma you cant have forgot that already I just told you !!!!

TBW glad your DGD got home from hospital ok
Oh underperky I feel your pain, firstly for the beef but also your memory. I am waiting for a brain scan appointment surely I can't still have chemo brain almost two years later.

The other thing i suffer from is making sense of things.......I don't understand what you mean :rotfl:
I was supposed to book a memory test in January it took me until March to remember, I would think about it all the time but on occasions like today when I could do nothing about it, when I finally made the appoinmtment it wasnt my gp but a locom when I described to her my symptoms she said you don't need a memory test you need a brain scan check the C hasn't spread :eek:I was about to go into meltdown when the baby was rushed into hospital which took my mind off it and as I still haven't had an appointment through they can't be too concerned. Crikey I haven't told anyone this and I've just declared it to the world on an open forum :eek:actually I have told one person :A

My friend is a GP and just been through chemo and radiotherapy, she has loads of memory problems that she says are a side effect of the drugs. Try not to worry.

Thanks for this. One for sharing and the other is I had no idea about memory issues., hopefully short term.

Take care and enjoy those wonderful new baby moments.

Thank you Silvercar, it definitely started when I had the chemo but I thought it would have made a improvement by now. At first i put it down to the fact that I was off work so just not using my brain but I've been back at work ages now.
I think its more cognitive than memory tbh but we will wait and see.
