Feeling a lot happier and calmer today - 2nd Grandaughter and her fiance are staying with us over Easter and yesterday she spent most of the day and evening in Treliske hospital as she was really unwell with tummy pains and violent sickness overnight and morning. Major worry given she is around 14 weeks pregnant and they thought it might be her appendix. 1st Grandaughter is still recovering from having her appendix out last week so worries all round. They finally decided it wasn't that and was probably strained muscels and swollen lymph nodes due to the chest infection she had and coughing bouts. They stabilised the vomiting and she arrived back here late last night. Seems a lot better today although still queesy - but that may be the pregnancy sickness. Thinking positively anyway especially as the doctors were happy with the babys' heartbeat etc.

a very worry time, I bet you are all fed up of hospitals, hopefully things will settle down shortly

    Happy Easter from the Spa!

Mother's Day present from DD was a spa day. (I suspect because DD wanted a spa day!). So here we are. Easter Sunday seems a good day to go. Virtually empty!

Only draw back has been lunch. We normally go to Morrisons next door, but supermarkets are closed, so had to have Hotel lunch:eek:

Yesterday, we had afternoon tea at High Cleare Castle. Early birthday treat for DD and DH. When we got home we watched the first episode of Downton and spent the whole programme exclaiming 'We've been there!'................Yes I do know how sad I am. :o

Don't want to go home to cook dinner. Too relaxed. Sigh.

    Happy Easter!

Afternoon Elite friends  and a Happy Easter Sunday to you all

    79fb8b9b6efed8af95179c9f4513a971.jpg

Hope you son is OK today rhos ♥

Thinking of all those working today, worrying today, missing someone today, lonely today, sad today, unwell today and hoping that you too can share in the love of Easter ♥

My Mail - does anyone actually know when they are changing over to nectar points please? If it was May I think we would have been given much more warning. All I can see on their site is 'soon' and 'during the year'

Lazy day in house for me today, with my darlings Berry and Noela. No Easter Eggs for me as Vegan chocolate is mainly YUK :(
