Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I have seen the most amazing/awful thing happen. Transfixed so couldn't get camera.

Sparrows on the feeder disappear into their usual spot in the shrub. A brown bird, size of a blackbird maybe bigger is sat on the side of the shrub. I can't see it's breast as it had its back to me.

It hopped further down the front of the shrub, sat for a while, maybe just seconds before it disappeared into the shrub.

No leaves were moving, all was still, then 2 or 3 sparrows flew out heading to the right followed by this brown bird  no doubting that this was a sparrow hawk. Naughty bird.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I went to Jibacoa and it was lovely. I took out extra stuff with me to give to local people. Toiletries (horrendously expensive for locals), pens, pencils, writing pads for children, sweets, pasta, childrens underwear, peanuts (sounds stupid but I took a kg bag with me :o didn't eat them but the bar person loved it when I gave it to him. A small bag would cost £5 there. Vitamin C tablets are also good to take to give and also feminine products. Tampax are prohibitively expensive as are paracetamol. Chewing gum is very welcome. Please leave any 'free' toiletries in resort for your 'cleaner' but leave a note saying that you are doing that, so they are not accused of stealing.
It is very safe. The Cuban people are lovely. Enjoy your holiday.

    Great thanks.

    TM ((((hugs)))

Nanny nice to see you here

    DM have a fabulous holiday

Good morning all, cloudy here again. We finally had a little rain here.

Problem is we are now getting quite a few heathland fires locally, we need a good drenching.

How much more does it cost to get everyone that is travelling to Manchester rather than to Gatwick or Heathrow?

Return trip to Gatwick (the only other choice for this) is a little over £30 as we always hop on the train, so £60+ for two, that would cover the fuel. So really the only extras are car parking and possible hotel.

It really is considerably cheaper to go via Manchester

Also please could someone advise me on lenovo tablet. I'm seeing a flash up of white bricks or similar when jumping from page to page. Something not right and just hoping it's not a virus. Any advise great full to received thanks xx

Any chance of screenshotting the problem? I know it is unlikely.

One suggestion - lenovo have a support page, might be worth asking them?

DS is travelling to South Korea on Sunday.

North Korea are possibly testing nuclear devices tomorrow as it is their "Big Weekend"

    American warships in the peninsular

Trump and China flexing their muscles. I want it all to go away

Now this is the time that you do totally irrational things! Breath deeply, and do not do anything that you will regret.

I always plan emergency exit routs for DS1. But when he went to Qatar we had a right panic as there was trouble in to countries that surrounded him (and 2 princess), and America warships lined up in front of his hotel facing Iran. My :o moment was to send him a sea kayak.... yes a flipping sea kayak... his responses what :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When he was in Myanmar, we had begun to not panic so much.... but then there was the election and fighting on the land, they had to put the boat in the middle of the river and lock the staff based on different ethnic groups into separate areas until they all calmed down and stopped fighting... it is amazing how resilient our children are! Try not to panic x

    Mum's are made to worry!

DS2 has been abroad in the past, far too near war zones for my liking, but I wouldn't actually stop him going. My parents would phone every day and say they can't believe I allowed him to go. Which made the worrying 10 times worse.
