It's Iceland that's now come up with an incorrect SEL for me. I never buy anything at the price stated on SELs:rotfl:. It's the 14 pack Birds Eye Chicken Fingers. They are 2 for £2 today. That's not as good as the 10 pack at 50p clearance in M but I found that ages ago and never managed to buy them. I couldn't find the 14 pack version on Iceland's website in the 2 for £2 offer, but I had seen a trace of them on msm last night although showing OOS. I was looking for them on there when going through some more of the prices from M from two weeks ago - they'd gone to £1.50 RTC in M - that doesn't seem too good given prices like the 8 pack BBQ Chicken Griddlers in A (and Iceland) that seem to me to be on a fairly trite 2 for £2 price - there is a larger pack of (non-BBQ) Chicken Griddlers in M on the £1.50 RTC which works out at exactly the same price as that offer:wall:.

So, whilst looking for those, I saw the 14 pack Chicken Fingers at 2 for £2 OOS for Iceland - for which I had a slightly higher weight than the Chicken Griddlers in M and at 2 for £2 seemed a lot better.

I went to Iceland today (the earliest opportunity after seeing the above in the evening after closing time yesterday) - I didn't expect to find them but hoped I might do so. There is a label for £2 and 2 for £3 for them in my Iceland. I couldn't see them at first as someone has put a lot of 10 pack at 2 for £2 on top of them - unsurprising if they want people to buy those:rotfl: - but, given the SEL was there, I should have looked even if it was not, I looked in the freezer more so and eventually found some underneath all those packs. I thought 'bet they've gone up:(', given that the SEL said 2 for £3 - I think they've done that on me before, when the Pink Lady apples ages ago went up from 2 for £2 to 2 for £3, though I did manage to buy one lot of those before they increased the 'offer' price - in fact, when I bought the apples they were actually £1 each but their signage and the offer details on hotdeals got me buying two:( - I wanted two anyway (though tbh the till was too late that I didn't have the heart to reject one of the packs at that stage:( - got caught into buying them:mad::rotfl:). (Hotdeals also cost me by having me buying a ticket between two places suggested on there for Nectar points (child ticket), only to find after I had bought it:mad: that Edinburgh Waverley to Edinburgh Haymarket was slightly cheaper and is probably the cheapest journey on the Virgin West Coast network - cheapest I could find anyway - so, make a note of that for next time if there is any next time - but, of course, :(I should have done that before I bought and not jumped into the suggestion on hotdeals.)

I wasn't having either Apples then or Chicken Fingers now at £3. I took two packs of the Chicken Fingers to the till, asked for a price check of the two, expecting them to say £3, but they told me £2. So, I've "saved" £2 in Iceland - or, in fact, just got the £1 each price I was looking for. They're also 350g which is a bit more than M's bigger Griddlers pack (the smaller one in Iceland at 2 for £2 is not worth borthering with IMO and neither is the 10 pack there at the same price as the 14 - or, actually, much more expensive by weight/number but anyway...). So, 14 pack Chicken Fingers are still available in at least one Iceland and the effective bogo'f' on them is still on today.

As for M prices and the M list, I might have said yesterday that the M list, in effect, is now up to date - I have a few more items to go from two weeks ago but nearly all of what I was checking, where it was online, was still on - but it's probably all change again today (they change main prices now on Wednesdays). So, the list can be used again but just check on msm/m.com afterwards to see the item prices you're after haven't changed. In fact it looks like quite a few new offers, that I had put on from starting 22 March, are now on until 18 April - so next big change is probably 19 April suggesting that much of the list is currently still valid - however I am next checking instore on 12 April and probably won't be going after then for some time again (I may delete the expiry 18 April the week later using online but probably not much else). The 12 April was selected because the Passover offers will probably be current until shortly before then, so I need my store with the Kosher items again, although there may be big change on some other items the week later.

Do you know what brand it was and what other spirits were in the offer? tia

I know that the standard smirnoff 70cl was included in the deal....as well as the flavoured smirnoff, either green apple, vanilla or lime...

thats the only 4 that I know were in the deal although there may have been others....

Those 4 variants were what DS managed DTD on last night!

Singularly they were priced at £14 and 16.50 for the flavoured ones but the deal was 2 for £20.

I'm not a fan of vodka, nor would I normally encourage a dtd on it but I'm hoping it will be consumed with some sense by him seen as he spotted it and was willing to put his point across at the CS desk!

I just want to confirm that the colgate worked fine this morning when buying 6 of each on the same receipt. They paid within a couple of hours.
