Been out for a lovely carvery today. Took mum as an early Mother's Day treat as it will be so busy tomorrow. Also DD1 and my DB came too. It was a Crown Carvery so I used the AA 20% discount :money:
It was in mhoc's neck of the woods and I would have called in for a cuppa if it hadn't of been the weekend of the wedding :rotfl:

If police get involved don't think they will be happy when they know reason why Emily attacked woman. I would never put face near a dog eating nor pull its chew away from it.

Will the lady in Stoke keep you updated on how Emily is getting on ?

Glad Emily been using garden more :)

Yes she will keep us fully updated with her progress :D

Susan, I'm sorry you've been driven into a corner over poor Emily and this stupid woman. How ridiculous of her to come out with saying that. She has told somebody else and she's only repeating what they've said.

It's not fair Emily now has to leave as you were doing so well with her too. I guess sending her onwards now will be much better for her rather than be caged and not walked with you. My heart goes out to you Susan, I know how dedicated you are xx

Exactly AJ, someone is definitely putting the words into her mouth

Anyway, according to the dangerous dogs act, the rescue (us) have contacted her within 24 hours to apologise and have now informed her of the action taken to save her being a danger to others. We are allowed to get her assessed professionally and that is what we are doing by signing her over to the other rescue charity

And if police do get involved, I have stuck to 'my version' of events throughout, whereas she has changed hers. Emily was tied up behind the counter for a reason and she should not have gone anywhere near her without my permission. Emily could not have reached her if she had stayed her side of the counter. so the location of the 'attack' makes it obvious that she did wrong, and as for putting her face up to any strange dog and touching his chew, madness. It put Emily in a threatening situation, as I had already told her about her behaviour, and she has put Emily at risk. The injury is horrible but could have been much worse, it could have been her eye and not her eyebrow, and I am truly sorry for the fact it happened, but she is now not sharing the blame, putting it all onto dear Emily

Anyway, hopefully Emily can move on and be rehabilitated and have the lovely life she deserves. Her darling Mum Marina and two sisters who were rescued at the same time are all doing very well over here. The Mum adored his new Daddy and is always sitting on his lap. Emily's two sisters are nervous but loving dogs, who are having the time of their lives down in Cornwall
