    Had a good day today.

You remember that kitchen design consultation I went to to try to get a free Smegg toaster and kettle? They turned up today :D

Then my Fairy pack turned up.

Then my refund cheque for the C&B soup.

Then I managed to get a promise of a replacement powerbank for one that went faulty.

Did not manage to find the different travel adaptor though, will have to see what happens on that one.

    Fabulous, well done :j

You need to check first which offers you have, as unfortunately not everyone is seeing the same free offers (I encouraged family to go for this offer, only to find new accounts don't get the free items, only beer for £1 etc ... goes to show they should have signed up when I told them ages ago :D).

The easiest seems to be buying from M as you can get all the free ones from there, so saves going to different shops.

If A, note the pricing for Moretti 4 pack in an AvW shop.

N, I must have missed it too....just googled and found this
    https://www.sunlife.co.uk/life-cover/over-50-life-insurance/welcome-gifts/#gift-card
Is this link ok to post?

Brilliant....unsure who first saw it but thanks so much. Mr TM willgive this a go later.

    On this subject......

Sainsbury's Over 50s Life Insurance plans, provided by Legal & General, could help ease some of the financial strain on your family by paying a cash sum on your death. This could help contribute towards your funeral costs, outstanding bills or could be left as a small gift for your loved ones. As a thank you, you'll receive £70 worth of Nectar points, that's 14,000 points. The points will be credited to your account after you have made 5 months payments^.

Had a terrible nights sleep again and had to be in work an hour early as accountant was coming. Luckily we were finished by 12 so I was able to have the afternoon off. I got back to the hotel at 2 and went to bed till 5. Had a lovely sleep.
I had a call from a storage company who are coming next week to assess what needs to go into storage, then laundry called and said they will come on Tuesday to collect all the clothes. I have an appointment at 3 tommorow to view the house and can then decide if I like it and if so its available from 10.4.17.
Insurance company called this afternoon to ask how it was all going and gave me a direct line to her for any queries. One problem I can foresee is that the 2nd bedroom is apparently not damaged ( wont know for sure till they have a look under the carpet) so I wonder if they are going to leave those contents of that room behind. If they dont do anything in that room I am going to ask the builders to paint it anyway and fit a carpet that I will pay for.
So should I maybe move some of the things in that room into the other rooms as having the whole house empty would make it easier.

    Brilliant:T

    I've just got lucky too:T

Mr TM has won an Amstel Bier branded Cycling Jersey kit. They said they would send it out and we were curious as he hadn't stated his size. However if you read the rules, he's actually won 4 kits, 2 large and 2 medium:T

    Whoopsies tonight.
Very excited to get the asparagus and limes for the Malay Laksa I made tonight. I would have taken a photo of it but it looked horrible:rotfl::rotfl:

    But tasted delicious:D

I'd say they can't have a thorough check of the floor, under carpet, without furniture being removed.

Unsure about doing the nectar/ Viking thing again.....not everyone has been paid out yet for the first lot have they?
I see the point about ordering another small item in the hope it will go through but if it doesn't, then it's back to pestering Nectar again.

For info my offer is 2000 points for a £90 spend
