Bisto gravy granuals offer of 2 for £2 looks to be ending today. So should glitch nicely against Tesco. After apg should be 65p each. Other items in the offer but check in the morning as prices may change by then. I'll be at work by 5.30 so I can't check

    Good morning

MSE have sent Jordan to find a way round the W coffee promo change, though I am not sure there are any big revelations - buy a cheap item! A single sprout seems to be the cheapest item he found:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2017/03/waitrose-ends-free-coffee-and-tea-perk

I am sure the free W magazine is the cheapest once you swipe your card as it will be free, but maybe that will no longer count - and to be fair getting one each day would be a waste. Interesting comments below ...

You can foresee a minimum spend will be brought in at some point now that they have taken this step.

With some persuasion you may be able to get the stair carpet under matching items. It often depends on whether there is a "visible break" such as gripper bars at doorways or even if you can see the carpet through glazed internal doors. Again, talk to your loss adjuster. They are used to this kind of situation.

We frequently used to have what we termed the "bouncing paint pot" claims where a dropped tin of paint on the landing managed, apparently, to have damaged carpet to the landing, stairs, hall, kitchen and lounge. Often cleverly around doors but avoiding any furniture. Also the "clumsy cat" claims when paint was similarly walked throughout the house by said feline (presumably whilst carrying paint pot so paws would never run dry.). Not that working in insurance made me cynical you understand.

The stair carpet does not have grippers at the break with the hall. I will speak to the loss adjustor. I realise it wont all be perfect but so far so good.

And the only room not affected was the 2nd bedroom which has the worst carpet. But I didnt even consider throwing water on it!!
