I've just spent some time trying to sort out the Viking/nectar saga.
I placed several ordersbecause I had a use for the gift cards, TCB was about 12% from memory and I ended up experimenting, which hadn't been my original intention.
My first order was for 3 GC's and some paper that I needed with the 3000 point code. All good and 3000 (bonus), 60(for the GCs) and 8 (for the paper) points awarded :T
My second order was just for 3 GCs via the viking link through my nectar account which was offering 2000 points (I don't think everyone had this on their nectar account). Just 60 points awarded
Third order. I found a new code by replacing the 3000 of the item code with 5000 which was giving 5000 bonus points. Bought 3 GCs and only 60 points awarded
This got me thinking about the fact that I'd added an extra to my first order (the paper) so I placed a fourth order for 3 GCs, and some card I needed and the 5000 point code.5000, 60 and 8 points awarded :T:T:T
Fifth and final order. No GCs but I needed printer ink which was a bit dearer than on Amazon but in the interests of research I ordered anyway and used the 5000 code. Only awarded 82 points.
Conclusion...........
if you place an order just for GCs you only get the 60 points.
If you place an order with a little something added you get the bonus points on top of the usual points.
You can only use code once as last order didn't work but I think we knew that anyway.
Hope that provides some sort of explanation but no guarantees.

But thanks for all your early shops, have been very helpful
Can I ask a question to ALL not just DM in particular? it's something that has had me pondering for a couple of weeks now...
What is the benefit of buying dozens of razorS? I'm just not getting it, am I missing something?

The first benefit (if you use wet razors) is that they are only £1 a pack, where as they should be £5 a pack. The second is, if they are not in stock, you essentially get £4 credit.

thanks for the reminder - which foundation did you buy? From Boots?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I think it's just the angle mhoc. He's a tiny little thing really. Scared of his own shadow.
The night before last, he was out and there was a terrible fight in the early hours outside our bedroom window. I got up and shouted for him but he didn't come and was missing all that day, until late last night. I was starting to think the worst when in he trotted as if he owned the place. Such a relief:)To do is to be. Rousseau
