Well, where is my usual welcome from the southern coven? Every time I come down here it is always sunny, well it isn't today! Still, it's warm enough to be sitting outside with a refreshing drink.

Food for thought... and instant gratitude on my part.

    Thought you'd find this interesting.

anyway what happened this morning - I had a full To Do list to tackle, small annoying odds and ends ...

but firstly a bathroom break but I didn't take any devices with me :D not the iPad or phone so inevitably the home phone started ringing them the iPhone and then a message came in ...:(

it turned out Ohs meeting had been cancelled so he was on the way back and we were going to Tatton Food Festival - so literally I had 10 mins to print tickets, feed cats, hang washing, shower and get dressed :D
the To Do list abandoned altogether

great morning out despite being charged £6 for parking  (which goes to CHESHIRE East and not national trust) - love these food shows - inevitably the heavens opened and we got soaked through but we still did a swift walk around the garden afterwards

and we got stuck in traffic afterwards going through Middlewich, M6 problems again - we always get soaked to the skin and always get stuck in a m6 diversionary traffic queue whatever direction we go in :D

every time we get into Southampton the sun is shining like it has its own micro climate - mind you in CHESHIRE we live under a constant rain cloud so any glimmer of sun us a novelty

I agree too, breast screening is no fun, but not as painful since I lost weight
I have often thought that if men had testicle screening they would have found another way.......... slapping the relevant bits between 2 metal plates seems so barbaric to me!! x

I would love to see men have their testicles screened like that :D Not the most comfortable thing on earth but, having had a mum die from breast cancer (34 years ago), there is no way on this earth I would not do it.

Off for an MSE-ish night out. Fish and Fizz Friday at Loch Fyne is very good value I think - £25 for fish and chips for 2 plus a bottle of prosecco. the prosecco is £24 on it's own (not that i would order it at that price), but it's lovely and so are the fish and chips. Highly recommended :)
Have a good evening everyone x

please can I ask has everyone got the up and go free on their COS ps and is it also free on Q clicksnappy ?
after the debacle of the sugar jam where some apps said free and some said only £1 cashback I thought I'd better check

Q won't open on the iPad for me, have to shift myself off the sofa to go to the main computer

inevitably we were in Sainsburys yesterday and I looked at these as I have 50p MOCs for it.

also I noticed the hovis thins on COS it also says Morrisons now - I wished I'd checked my app, inevitably we were in Morrisons this lunchtime. They also have a collection point for a local church based food bank there which I think might take these

the grill mates I got in Sada yesterday for COS has been added to the list and £1.50 went on but I think I only paid £1.09

so now I've got a shopping list with 3 supermarkets on each with one item :)
I have it free on COS and, like you, can't get on Q right now on iPad.

ETA Ah, they are messing about, click on 'ways to earn' top right, then Grocery. I have 50p back x10 on Q.

I also have it on Shopmium, 50% back. :)
