Good afternoon.
I asked questions about airport lounge pass a couple of days ago. I just wanted to say thanks to all who replied. :A
I applied for The Preferred Rewards Gold Card today. I need to buy flight tickets this week so I'm hoping the card arrives by Friday. If I can use the card to buy tickets then £2k spend is mostly achieved...
I ended up reading up about the Platinum Card and really fancied having one:o but couldn't justify the £450 :eek:anual fee for myself, as I'm not a frequent traveller. I wondered if any elite have one?
Anyway, off to slave in the kitchen. Have a nice evening.:)
Enjoy the lounge tickets xMe again, I'm now thinking it would have been better to have stayed at work rather than taking redundancy and early retirement!
DH, who doesn't know his debit from his credit card, having discovered Amazon, is now ordering like a man who has won the lottery, dear young neighbour needs to speak to me every hour about what is and what isn't (which is usually the case) happening, ex member of staff also needs to keep me updated about the new firm she is with, things I cleaned last week now need cleaning agin and the highlight of my day has been putting 'Fablon' on the shelf in the cupboard under the stairs!!!
SSM - do you need a hand with your reports??
Yes please, I have a long list to do.... what do you fancy?
On a serious note have you thought about doing some agency work, no commitment and it will stop you watching the dust grow x:D

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: poor pip
My customer that passed away last year was like that, gave up with everything, but his was depression that was making him like that:( but he had just had enough not being well and being a carer:o
I suspect it might be depression for FiL, very much doubt if any other medication would be prescribed though, would help if they could get him outside, maybe later this week. He used to love his garden. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I agree with you it is such a good cause.
It would have been my sisters 39th birthday today.
5 days before I do the race, it will be 11 years that we have lost her.
It's impossible to make sense of losing someone so young:o
Your donations will save lives Sarah. You must at times have felt so helpless and it's great you've found a way to make a difference.

But then again my lack of brain to mouth filter gets me into trouble at times!

All I came out with was 'Well, it's better for just being in, isn't it?' but my enthusiasm met with a blank look, so I gave up. :rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
