    Morning All,

I've just receved some cineworld codes from my first set of claims (I was beginning to get worried).

I just need to get to Tosco a few more times before the offer ends.

    Sad_Dad

I'm now waiting for 12 more tickets to go with the 6 I already have:eek::eek:

your carp day makes mine pale into insignificance but I know what started mine off - next door had blokes in this morning working on the garden with industrial strimmers for 3 hours - the noise was deafening :(

The main job is getting your mums care package sorted out, an ongoing job though,

Your OHs dads estate - well its only a week so it might be too soon for them to cope with it yet.
In theory you don't have to be an executor - you can abdicate and appoint someone else. For instance on my Dads will it was myself and my youngest sister appointed but the youngest is clueless so we arranged with the solicitor for her to abdicate and the middle sister to be appointed.
I was already in charge of Dads finance and bills so it made sense and the middle sister dealt with the funeral.
My Dad already had his will with the solicitor so we just made an appointment firstly to get this bit sorted out.
Then when the funeral was over we made an appointment and I had to bring all of the paperwork and bank books etc
The solicitor had to go to probate, I think this happens with all estates except the very smallest. HMRC need to know if they are owed any tax.

Yes I am not taking into account the grief aspect. I might suggest to my husband that do indeed take over as the other executor. Brother wont like it but if OH agrees he will have to deal with it. I dont want to take on more commitments but Ill end up dealing with most of it by proxy anyway. Stayed at DD's last night and got up at 1.00 to help with nappy and then again at 4.00 and I let my daughter go to sleep in the other room and I took over till 8.00 then came to work ( only 1/2 day today ! )

On another note my eldest sister has an apartment in Nice ( very close to last night horrible event but luckily she flew home to visit Mum yesterday afternoon
