ooh. Thanks Zippy. I will look when I go in to collect my C&C. Lango, Louise56 and Danigrace, thank you for posting your shops, which I found very helpful for fillers.

I've decided to accept the sharpies even if they have them all in stock and will just give them to the T food bank. I'll still be quids up (unless they stop comparing!) and T will add to my donation. (I didn't quite get my head around BraveHeart's food bank explanation except to note that it is a Good Plan to add bottles of cheap water to the food bank box.)

I rather liked BH's explanation, and will definitely be putting cheap bottles in which I had never done before as I felt that due to the bulk and unhealthy nature of the product was not very good to donate. I tend to donate the glitches and sanitary wear for ladies (these are always needed). I wished I had got nappies last night for the food banks.

Every penny helps the food banks, which are so sadly needed.

Flipping well is, I don't know why I am even trying as my brain will kick into action about 10pm tonight and I will be mega productive until the early hours.

I didn't think about nappies for the food bank. We must keep reminding each other...

It is amazing what they need, people get milk tokens but no support with nappies.

I have an old school friend who had been unemployed since leaving school during which time she had a number of demons to fight. Her live changed when she had a child at nearly 40 years of age. A few years ago she set up a food bank, within a short period of time she managed to get a full time job so she handed over the running of the food bank to other volunteers - it was amazing to see her become a mother, to change her lifestyle, to do selfless acts, and to get a job after being on benefits since leaving school (so around 30 years) and maintain the job. It has made a massive difference to her life and the life of her child. I do love her to pieces.

    Hi All.

I take it from the lack of responses to my post the other day, that either nobody has heard of the below, or they are to be avoided.
