    I don't eat honey no, nor do most vegans. Vegan in the truest sense does not eat or use anything that has come from animals, as they believe that is not what animals are on this earth for. Commercial honey is a no no as they clip wings of Queen Bee so she can't go off to set up another hive, and they kill and renew them every couple of years whereas they would naturally live for 4 or more as a Queen in a wild hive

    Added: When the honey, which is in fact regurgitated nectar, is removed, it is replaced by sugar paste which is not as nutritional to the bees, to see them through the winter, which is what the honey is made by them for

    None of mine have had holders. Makes it easier to return for refund though as, as you say, it says holder on the paperwork.;)

    I don't think it would make any difference as the APG is based on what you ordered?

    Can anyone suggest a good Aldi dry white - we like New Zealand Malborough, yes very refined and expensive tastes :)

    thanks for the reply, the few i know that do eat honey have local produced stuff, but i did not think most do, new bara brith made with no honey topping so all ready for tomorrow, :), i actually like the veagan bara brith more than the normal one :o
