Happy Birthday tweets and Midwinter, hope you enjoy your special day.

Had a bit of a calamity yesterday.
Was trying to womble an Asda receipt and fell into the bushes up a small incline :shocked:
Couldn't get up no matter how hard I tried, but was just glad it was closing time and Car Park virtually empty, so no one to see me :o
Then started to panic as didn't have bag or phone with me

After some time a group of teenage lads walked across the car park and somehow saw me in the bushes. All I could think was they were going to video me and put it on Facebook or similar.

But they came over asked if I was OK and 2 of them helped me up, so embarrassing, but they were :A

    Thank you :)

Sorry but this made me  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you was ok and did you get your receipt ? ;)

I tried this today in a small A, kind of didn't work as the receipt wouldn't scan (it was very clear though).
The SA didn't really know how to do it, but here's what they did.

    Scan APG
Type in TC# Over the BARCODE number (NOT transaction at the top)
I pressed pay with gift card
    It showed APG accepted.
    I paid.

Will try another time with cash to see if that works.

A lot of scanners don't read the receipt bc. I would of done the above if it happens.

    Good morning all...

Happy birthday dearest tweets and midwinter....

TM ...hope Mr TM had a good night after his nasty accident and all mends well and soon.

Enterprise and bubbs...the gentle hugs are for both of you today to spread as needed round your family xx

We had a lovely weekend with DS....he slept most of it away but interspersed with the sleep we did catch up on quite a bit and I'm very happy that he seems to be in a good place and enjoying life at the moment.....taking him back to uni is always difficult but yesterday I knew he was returning to somewhere he wants to be!

We are going to have a go at frugal March...although dry Feb everyother day has slipped a little bit so my aim is 3 dry days in any 7 and see how that pans out.

Update on the toiletries challenge is 6 in and 3 out last week...
The 6 in were 4 deos cheap but not pennies in S and also needed...and 2 items to test....although as yet I am still unsure what the 2 test items actually are supposed to be so may struggle to give a balanced view.
Out items have included a body scrub,a bar of soap and a hairspray.

We went out for a meal on Saturday evening and you couldnt make the calamity up that surrounded it suffice to say it was the second meal out of the week that we left the restaurant having not paid.

Have a lovely week all...lets hope its a little more spring like than last.....
    Thankyou x
Glad you had a lovely time with ds:T
I sorted wardrobe out at the weekend 3 huge black bags full 30kilos:eek:
They have gone now so thats good:T

Exactly, the trouble is you cant vocalise it. If you say to them that the best bit of the day was getting their phone call then that enhances their view that parents have a very dull life :) It also makes the calls more duty bound as they then start to worry about how dull parents lives are :)

There will be no wedding panic until the calender says March :rotfl:
