They always used to put everything in the boot for me, it's a bit more complicated if you sya 'no bags' but the guys always help and they also tell you if there are any subs.The wind has really got up again:(

Can I ask the Kipling owners if the art bag can be used over the shoulder as a shoulder bag with the short handles or is it a grab bag?

Handles are quite short for using over your shoulder.
But it does have an adjustable detachable strap that you could use over your shoulder or across your body
