I totally agree with the benefits of children being allowed/forced to play games/read rather than being allowed computers etc. When my eldest was about 4 we were given a tv which we put in his room, he went to bed as normal with a story and cuddle but in the middle of the night he put the telly on. The telly was removed. Now they are adults it is only DS3 that has a tv in his room. I was also mean and did not allow them to have a mobile phone until they were 16...

AJ my OH is terrible shopping which led us to have a few words. He does not moan anymore... but now follows me around wherever I go.... it is like he is on a 30 cm leash! I often go around an object several times to see if he clicks on... but never!100 -
