I have just been accused of being a "bit" OCD insert laughing smillie He was being serious too !!!!
He does not even know me that well Does he not realise how restrained I was with my water purchases (only 10 packs) My "several" jars of Schwatz even though we make similar products in work and my message list for almost free stuff this weekend
I did not explain that only the Elite understand properly (Inset angels) Free stuff as long as it can be recycled to a new home is always good
Lunch over back to work
I have been accused of worse
the only thing that held me back from getting the water was trying to figure out where to store 15 packs :rotfl: My gang all carry water around with them but even so it would have taken a while to use it all up
I've got quite a lot of Schwartz herbs but eldest child is a keen cook so I intend giving her a nice collection - she keeps coming for one night stays and so I cant load her down with goodies but eventually ...
the peperami is very good and I am itching to get some but my gang are just not eating it fast enough ...
I can actually withdraw from my COS but I keep thinking a good free offer is just around the corner and I still have not got the hovis thins yet so I keep hanging on ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. many thanks to those who sent PM to tell me where you were
does anyone have the link to the latest nectar card swipe promotion where you get 25 points first swipe, 50 for the next etc?
shame we have no Walkers crisps left to contribute to the party! xx
thanks for the reminder, I need to chase my last lot up which has not been added
Have you registered with nectar.com and then you just check your account about once a week on a Wednesday or Thursday - the swipes are an offer you have to activate - hope this helps“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. My life is descending into stress again!!
1. DD has a 6 week old baby who has colic so Nanny has to go every afternoon to help and is staying the night tonight as her hubby is away
2. My Mum's care seems to be falling all to me again ( although I am trying hard to escape)
3.OH's father died last week and although him and his brother have power of attorney and are executors they both seem incapable of dealing with it all and I am getting caught up in that.
4. I am fed up of working and want to sell up, pay off the remaining mortgage and try to find somewhere smaller to buy ( that is not in a retirement complex)
Luckily I am in work on my own all day so a bit of office spring cleaning is helping.
your carp day makes mine pale into insignificance but I know what started mine off - next door had blokes in this morning working on the garden with industrial strimmers for 3 hours - the noise was deafening
The main job is getting your mums care package sorted out, an ongoing job though,
Your OHs dads estate - well its only a week so it might be too soon for them to cope with it yet.
In theory you don't have to be an executor - you can abdicate and appoint someone else. For instance on my Dads will it was myself and my youngest sister appointed but the youngest is clueless so we arranged with the solicitor for her to abdicate and the middle sister to be appointed.
I was already in charge of Dads finance and bills so it made sense and the middle sister dealt with the funeral.
My Dad already had his will with the solicitor so we just made an appointment firstly to get this bit sorted out.
Then when the funeral was over we made an appointment and I had to bring all of the paperwork and bank books etc
The solicitor had to go to probate, I think this happens with all estates except the very smallest. HMRC need to know if they are owed any tax.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
