Thank you Picasso can I have a business account even if I haven t got a business lol ?
I have absolutely no idea. I just put my own name for the business name when I linked my Nectar card.
I'm getting rather anxious about the mistaken reputation I am getting on here about being a Viking expert!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I've never bothered with passes in Rome. If this is for museums etc, I find I don't do enough to make it worth it but I am a very lesuirely tourist. If it is for public transport, then even though I stay near St Paul's Outside the Walls, I still find a pass not worth it. When you buy a ticket it is valid for something like an hour (do check that!) and you can use it on bus, metro and tram (I think) so it is enough to get you to where you are going. Then I tend to walk so just need another ticket to get me back again. You can buy tickets from newsagents and small shops near metro stations etc.
If you want to get into St Peter's you might be well advised to avoid the queues (which can be horrendous) and book yourself the scavi trip (excavations under St Peter's) via the official Vatican website for it. As long as you are steady on your feet and not claustraphobic, they are absolutely fascinating. You have to do it in advance and there are a limited number each day. But once you have the tickets, it's a special entrance where you do security with a very short queue if any and afterwards you exit up into St Peter's, thus avoiding the long queue which can last for two or three hours or even more.
Thank you. I think we are leaning towards it because it includes something similar to a speedy pass. OH is dealing with this and is going to talk to our travel agent about it so a bit out of the loop.
Have to say the Scavi trip sounds very interestingWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
