happy valentines all....we don't swap cards or gifts normally....but OH has made me a candle....its all bits of old candle melted down and poured into one of my mum's old tea cups...he says he will refill it when empty as he bought a job lot of wicks from ebay.
His idea is that I can light the candle and share a "cuppa" with my mum like we used to.....it blew me away!

Firstly I checked the weather and we have at least 10 days of mild weather ahead of us:T Then I looked at lighting up times and in 10 days time we will have gained 40 minutes of extra daylight. 20 minutes morning and 20 minutes on an evening.

I'm itching to get outside on a night and "do" something in the garden.

And to be fair, whatever the weather brings, it's always much easier dealing with it in daylight.

Hi silvercar, the birdies are the Dove travel sets at Superdrug. Braveheart had several in his basket and then emptied it so that other elite could buy them but it seems that there were quite a lot in stock anyway hth

Just of to work but a quick thanks to enterprise, chrisv and silvercar for your speedy replies and putting my mind at rest, was a bit worried, had a look on link and it is a prank call, as googled the number and it is one that is used and the calls are identical.
Don't have to worry about a mad Scots man Turing up on my doorstep .

Sounds rather worrying rhos but I know nothing about this type of thing, sorry xx
