Film recommendations on Am4zon Prime, both based on true stories. Not new releases but I hadn't seen these before - All Good Things (New York murder mystery) and Fair Game (US, Iraq dodgy dossier).

Berry had his booster at vets and a once-over health check. His Pancreatitis flare up has settled, no solid mass in his tummy area. Health murmer which he's had a while is level 1 - 2 so doesn't need treatment. Millie's was level 4 then 5 and we had to have her put to sleep when it reached 6, after having her fits. I asked if treatment would be needed if it went to 3 or above, but Vet Andrei said that if that was the case, his health murmer getting worse, Berry would go downhill very quickly. He is on borrowed time, so I'll just let him plod on, for the time he has left. He is OK, as I say, just plodding on :smileyhea

He was the star of the waiting room, people saying how good he was and how lovely he was, admiring his wonderful 'bear' coat. They could see he was old, by the way he plodded across the room, and I told them his story which they thought was wonderful, saying he deserved his comforts after what he had been through. He lets anyone come and stroke him, just watching them, with those deep eyes of his, gone cloudy now with cateracts. Nothing fazes him at all

People always laugh as I use a very long flat lead as he doesn't exactly walk on the lead. If I was to put pressure on his collar, pull on his lead, he would immediately pull backwards away from me. But walk away, and he won't let me leave him, so as I am going into consulting room, for instance, he starts to get up and plod across the waiting room. I have to hide round the corner to get him to enter the room, or push him by the bum :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, only £9.77 to pay today for prescription for his dementia meds, as his health check and booster jab are covered under a monthly plan :D

He sounds such a lovely old boy 3dogs:A

I picked up 5 wombles today. 3 of them are filthy.

The 2 clean ones are worth nothing but the mucky ones are worth £5.29, £3.40 and £2.27:o
    :rotfl:

Might have to give them a scrub up:rotfl:

try ironing them as well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all

I've been thinking about the triggers in the multibuys.I don't think a lot of them are worth if they are only in say 2 for £3 or 2 for £2 unless you are only using as fillers.

They would be useful if say 4 for £5 etc.

Take the oats so simple for example.

These are 2 for £3 asda and £1.50 morries if they compare and £1.63 in waitrose so would only return 93p making 2 for £2.07.

Sainsburys have the 20 pack golden syrup ones for £2 which are£3.98 in asda so would be better doing a target shop against sainbobs.

exactly my thoughts. but i did have to do a sort of muggle shop when i done the crisps. unfortunately no big returns for us the way its going. unless it sees trigger as well. as in a different group
