We are saving Fortitude to watch in one fell swoop - I am avidly into Nordic noir so the atmosphere is excellent. Weve also got an obsession with Iceland :)

We had to turn up the heating while we were watching it:rotfl:

Deeply annoyed with free chocolate? Not at all :D.

Would I pay £1.35 normally for a tiddly box like that? No.

    Are they an energy drink?

Yes it is an energy drink. From memory it is flat like cordial/water.

I always work out price per 100g when buying chocolate. If I can get it for 50p or less I think it's a bargain.

Do you have a Home Bargains nearby?

They sell Golden Sunrise chocolate buttons that are actually repackaged Cadburys Giant Buttons (evident from the Cadburys stamp on the base of them - although that's not obvious on the below photo)

    2604030_1.jpg

89p for 250g makes it about 35p per 100g for Cadburys chocolate

They also do 300g chocolate chunks for the same price if you want to go sub 30p/100g

I only know about it thanks to this HUKD thread from a while ago:

Called in M on my way home, the golden syrup was priced at 1.95 in my store. So didn't have time to query.

Yes they are definitely on offer as I bought some yesterday - on the main shelves with other syrup and on promo end of aisle with pancake range. Maybe SELs haven't been updated.

Have you had your slide rule out:rotfl:

My Versace perfume arrived today with my facemasks:rotfl:

5ml is more than I thought. I was beginning to think it would be one of those tiny glass phialls but it's a lovely little bottle.

I even like the idea of tipping it upside down on your finger tips and dotting it behind your ears.(lugs:D)

Came with a free sachet of Advanced body lotion....wonder if my body is advanced enough:rotfl:

Has anyone been watching Fortitude ....is it worth investing all that time in?
I watched the first episode last night and I'm a bit unsure

I thought season 1 was good but I watched season 2 over a couple of nights and I would rather have those 2 nights back
