Evening Elite
Another disturbed night but it was Berry barking on and off all night, so his pancreatitis must be flaring up I thinkNela only barked once about 2 am, by the back door to go out for a wee and straight back in and settled. At least I slept from 10 to 4.30 - except I was supposed to be working at charity shop 1-4 oops  I slept through 2 landland phone calls, 3 mobile phone calls and several texts and whatsapp messages
Think I would have liked your mum!!
My mam died over 20 years ago, but i still have times when I think, 'I must tell her that or take her there'
That is one of the things that hurt me most, when something happens and I think 'wait till I tell Alan that', then immediately reality sets it, and it hits me hardvanilla_twist wrote: »Evening all
Nice little trip into town with N today. Superdrug we asked about Dove sets and they had them out the back as currently no shelf space. She bought out 2 different types of dove bags but the ones with face wipes are not on the offer, plus in nasty cheap bags. So we relieved them of the 6 they had. After months of not finding these, think was September they were first found, now have nice little stash. Also in SD got 75ml bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy eau De parfum for £30 minus 10% student discount. Not sure pricing were right as same size eau De toilette was £58:eek: nice present for a birthday coming up next month. Also in SD £5 off leaflets if you spend £50 if you use beauty card. Mix that with nus card and makes £10 off £50 only valid until 7/2 though.
Also little look in Wilkos and got some stainless steel hurricane lamps for £5 each and N got some lovely cushions for £2.50each. Was a few other bits I likes but carrying stuff back from Wilkes is a pain.
Asda and lovely lime green towels for bathroom.
Sounds like alot of shopping but not been shopping since 6/1 so quite cost effective.
Trying to go dairy, wheat and gluten completely free and must say coconut milk in Starbucks drinks is extremely lush. Think it is a change I will continue when Feb ends.

Sounds like you two had a fab outing as always VT and N. I must try the coconut milk at Starbucks :Thornetgirl wrote: »Thank you all so much for all the good wishes. Thankfully I have been given a clean (ish) bill of health - medication for the next three months but no cancer and after my scan did not even have to have a biopsy. Massively relieved. Love you all xx

It's really annoying as my hours will be less because they are making my boss do more - which he doesn't really want either. So nobody's happy. No logic.purpledonkey wrote: »It's for a 40th birthday party and no children will be present. Something tells me I won't be posting it on here :rotfl:

I can't bubbs. When Berry is like this, if I sit up on end of bed, or so sit in the lounge, he stops barking but starts as soon as I lie down in bed and put covers over me. He then barks and pulls at the covers. His hearing and his eyesight are getting very bad now so I think he needs to be able to see me to feel reassured. Anyone know where I can get a see through duvet lol. From teatime yeaterday he has been panting with head up when lying around, instead of sleeping or resting his head. This generally means that his pancreatitis is flaring up (so he is uncomfortable with upset tummy) or his dementia is flaring up and he is confused. Just have to deal with it as I can. I try different things, more Zylkene sedative, change times of meals (he has to spread his food over 3 smaller meals), have light on in hall/lounge/bedroom at night with my head under the cover to sleep, fan on in hall, back door open/closed. It's OK if I don;t have to go out next day but when I am working it is hard to get enough sleep and then it catches up on me.
